Funk Firm's Arthur Khoubesserian started designing turntables in 1979, and came to acclaim with the extraordinary Pink Triangle. The "Little Super Deck" uses Funk Firm's patented Vector Drive, a three-point drive system that uses one DC motor and two slave pulleys to provide unsurpassed stability. The new F5-II arm allows for simple setup with an innovative calibrated sliding weight on the arm beam that will allow for perfect support of any cartridge. The glass platter comes with a felt mat, but you can upgrade to a Funk Achromat for even better performance. 

The LSD's tempered glass platter rotates atop a hand burnished bearing, is driven by a superb motor, and is stabilized by a unique three-pulley vector drive. In the F5-II tonearm, Khoubesserian’s choice of materials and construction technique result in a design with well behaved resonances and superb tracking ability. A clever variable mass tracking weight system helps optimize the arm for different cartridges, in essence making the arm a variable mass design, and thus means means the choice of cartridges is thrown wide open. The clever headshell makes it easy to fit cartridges and adjust overhang and azimuth by using just a single screw.
