Rated 7/10 conservatively due to a few marks on the handles which are barely visible from more than two feet away.

This amplifier has been a staple in my system for the last 20+ years... Built to last a lifetime, lifetime warranty to original owner. Quality of parts, matched parts, and output transistors burned in for months result in one of the true sleeper solid state amp classics. Read Stereophile article November 26, 1994 where the Fifteen was compared to the Krell KSA-250 and Mark Levinson No. 27.5, all classic pieces. Robert at Classe said when they stopped production many special orders were made from current owners wanting a second Fifteen.

I am the original owner and this piece has been with me through many pre-amplifiers, speakers, and survived the test of numerous amplifier show downs in my system including with the likes of Krell, Mark Levinson, VTL, Parasound, PS Audio...the list continues. One of the best amplifiers ever made with huge sound stage depth and accuracy. The only reason I am selling is because I had the opportunity to move up to a Classe Omicron MKII, which is a better power match for my Focal Scala Utopias. This amplifier did a solid job of driving every speaker it was paired with along the way, even the Utopias, but since I am now consolidating my system to 2 channel, this piece is ready for its new home.

Specs:
175 watts/channel at 8 ohms
