Yamaha CX-10000

MAKE OFFER. 1. A Yamaha Centennial CX-10000 preamplifier. It needs no introduction, as it is one of the solid state halo projects from Japan. It has a full parametric EQ built in along with fun room DSP settings if wanted. Flexible!

A bit of confusion cleared up. No it doesn’t convert every signal coming in to digital, it only uses digital conversion in the DSP modes and the EQ samples signal to convert it into a digital filter setting. If those are off, it’s just a line stage, and it’s one to be reckoned with. Few match the neutral nature of it.

It is Japanese market so a step down to 100v is necessary. Comes with manual and the remote, which is also in nearly perfect condition.  Everything works 100%, it was just serviced with a total cleaning and new VCA’s all around (4). 

It’s a mint unit, seriously a 9/10 is a fair assessment. Home Unit (Japan market) advantage, it has the bigger OFC shielded power cable. Definitely different from the US model, which I have also had. Note, one sold here a couple years back for the same price, but with a dead LED segment in the display, no servicing, no manual and no remote. This is a very good price for a line stage of this caliber and collectibility.
