Audio Matiere or Audio Sculpture designed the Paraphrase as a reference pre-amplifier. The paraphrase is known for its ability to disappear in the audio chain and gush resolution. Designed by Jean Jaques Van Leeuwen who is well known in the audio industry for very desirable components. (Spent years with Jadis)
The pre-amps simple design and ultra clean signal path allows for maximum musicality. The Paraphrase is warm and involving, yet provides a stunning realism of being present with the musicians.
This unit is very clean and is fully operational. Its very quiet and should have many hours of tube life left. A beautiful piece to build your system around.
