Scansonic MB-3.5

NOTE: My original listing from last October is below; however, I twice decided not to sell over a $100 difference in price. I of course now regret this terribly as a few months later one speaker had one of the 4.5" drivers torn by a cat scratch. The tear is small (~ 1/2" or so) but very definite and the same ****ing cat also made small cosmetic scratches on the top of the unit. The other speaker is intact. The low price is due to the damage as while one speaker is 9/10 like they both were before, the other would have to rate as 1-2/10 until repaired (but does remain essentially new and not even broken in). I'll throw in the cat for free.
_______________________________________________________________________ Essentially brand new pair of one owner Scansonic MB-3.5 speakers. Not even broken in (~50 hours of listening). No issues with them at all (PLEASE SEE ABOVE); I am just a very early version of an audiophile and find I prefer a more tweeter-forward / 'bright' sound. However, Scansonics are very well reviewed and often compared favorably to their MUCH pricier Raidho cousins.

Thanks for your interest! BTW, I've yet to sell on Audiogon but can't imagine these barely used and cosmetically perfect (to my eye) speakers would be anything less than 9/10 condition.
