In my resolving system these Evolutions are the best of best
in direct shoot outs with half dozen well-respected Class D including the newest
GaN gallium nitride monos, and against many other class A and B
amps that I have auditioned. Compared to the Evos these other Class D sounded
thin in the mids and less liquid and real whereas the A/B amps sounded congealed,
slow, and less controlled in the bass.

 With the Evolution Ones I hear amazing bass (controlled,
dynamic, fast, detailed and with true timbre), and excellent highs, mids, and
PRAT.  They are also dead quiet. The Evos pass the "do no harm" test. There is a freedom from
electronic haze. The soundstage has excellent depth, separation of instruments,
air, and bloom. High bells sound rounded with more realist timbre, attack, and
decay. Voices are natural and captivating. They rock out with the best. When
the music is relaxed and sweet, these amps allow you to be emotionally moved by
liquidity and languidness and this involvement can be enjoyed at lower volumes
than with other amps. They are excellent at naturally presenting the slightest
micro-detail with no excessive spotlighting. Solo and massed strings are realistically
presented both in the string sound itself and the body of the instrument. They
hit the sweet spot between fluidity and control. There is ample mico-detail for
this detail freak and yet they present the music as a whole cloth to be enjoyed
