Conrad Johnson Sonographe Model 400 Ampllifier

This SA-400 is a great SS amplifier that CJ built like a tank. It is a step up from the SA-250. I’ve used it off and on over the past 3-4 years with electrostatics, and Infinity IRS Beta subwoofers. It is a superb sounding amplifier. Every bit as good as the high price Conrad Johnsons. Selling due to already have five separate high power tube amps in my house and is not needed now. Fully tested.

The SA-400 has the ability to deliver tremendous amounts of current even into small impedance loads allowing it to be used with demanding speakers such as electrostatic and ribbons.

The SA400 is superbly built based on the many decades of Conrad Johnson's reputation. It uses polypropylene capacitors throughout with some of them bypassed with the Conrad Johnson polystyrene capacitors. This component quality is not found in amp costing $4000 or more!

200 watts per channel into two channels into 8 ohms with no more than 1% distortion. (almost 400 watts unto 4 ohms!)
