This is the original Hugo TT DAC/Headphone Amplifier/Preamp. The unit was originally purchased in July 2015 and has been used in my reference system as a DAC and Preamp, run directly into my power amp via USB from my computer. This unit is powered by 4x Rechargeable custom Enix Energies 3.7v 9.6Wh Li-ion (lithium-ion (2600mAh) batteries and Chord's 10,000µF "Supercapacitor"; the power supply simply serves as a "trickle charger" for the batteries. Hugo TT supports up to 32-bit/384kHz audio via coax and USB, and 24-bit/192kHz over optical, plus DSD64 on all inputs and DSD128 via coax or USB (all via DoP). I've recently used it with Roon as a Roon endpoint via USB and it works great in that mode.
The Hugo TT has inputs for USB HD, USB SD, Digital Coax, and Optical, and has both single-ended RCA and balanced XLR outputs. It has 2 X 1/4" headphone jacks and 1 X 3.5mm headphone jack
My Hugo TT is in the black finish and is in mint condition. It comes supplied with the original box, remote control, owner's manual, and an optical digital cable. This is a HUGE upgrade over the original Chord Hugo Portable DAC, with much more dynamic presentation, greater detail and transparency, and a more open sound overall — terrific, very natural high-frequency presentation as well.

The only DAC that I've heard that surpasses this is the new Hugo TT2 and, of course, The Chord DAVE . . . but both of those are far more expensive than the price at which this unit is offered.
