McIntosh MC-225

Original condition MC225. Hasn't been used since 1983. Acquired from the orginal owner. Looks almost new inside. Original tubes - mostly yellow lettering Sylvanias. The 2 12AX7s are rebranded NOS Realistic. One of the letterings identifying thr tube has worn off, as well as on the side panel without the inputs and outputs. Also some wear on the I/O lettering. Transformer lettering is very good. Was brought up with a varistor and checked on a scope. Frequency response is perfect. No hum. Sounds wonderful. Currently residing at an tube amp manufacturer in DC. You can come hear it...or we can ship it to you packed in 3 inches of foam rubber. We have a 72% discount with UPS.
