Seven year old Basis 1400 turntable with a Jelco 750d arm and an Easy VTA micrometer. Great table/terrific sound/easy to adjust. Selling it because I do seldom use it anymore. Just had the arm checked out and rewired by Audio Origami and installed an Easy VTA micrometer ($200). Also has a brand new highly rated 1.2 meter Audio Sensibility Impact SE phono cable. The turntable is rated a five because it has had several arms installed and it does not look great when you take the arm out, but once it is installed it looks fine and operates very well. Check out the pictures to see this. The Jelco arm should have an 8 rating if I could rate it separately. The Yamamoto wood head shell is not included but it is available for an extra $60. Will ship with the stock Jelco headshell. Dennon cartridge is also not included. Ships without a cartridge. I will include a bottle of Basis Bearing oil and a bottle of damping fluid for the tonearm. This listing will be professionally packed. The $75 shipping rate is only for shipping to the continental USA and excludes Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

Yes, I am the original owner, As far as the shipping goes, I am willing to drive the equipment to your location if you live within 200 miles from my house. This would reflect in the selling price being lowered a bit since shipping costs would be reduced to my driving expenses. The Yamamoto shell is about three years old and I would include it at the asking price. |
