**Mint** Focal Elegia **Save $300**

I am selling a pair of Focal Elegia headphones that are truly in Mint condition.  You can see from the pictures that the soft suede headband and ear covers have zero signs of wear, and to be honest, these headphones have only about 4 - 5 hours of total play.  I have a pair of Focal Utopia that I use as my primary headphones in my office, and I was hoping to use these when I travel for work.  As it turns out, I am not traveling much, and only carried these Elegias with me for a single business trip.  They are a bit bulky to carry in my work backpack, which is a major factor in my selling them.  Fortunately, they have a great carrying case included for anyone that does want to take them on the go.

When it comes to closed back headphones, these are a great option.  I have tried the Focal Stellias, and have to admit that I like the Stellias a bit better, but that is in a totally different price category.  I have compared the Elegias to the Sony MDR-Z1R and can honestly say that I like the Elegias about the same.  I have also owned a pair of Sony MDR-Z7's, and the Elegia was a huge step up from the Z7's in every regard.  They are very neutral, easy to drive with an iPhone or portable music player, and have great passive noise protection.  On my one trip where I used them, they reduced noise about equal to my Shure IEM's, but were MUCH more enjoyable sonically and from a comfort standpoint.

Because these are essentially NEW with only a few hours of use, I am asking for a bit more than the average price than if they were reasonably used.  Please do not send any low-ball offers, as I am in no rush to sell.  If you are looking to buy a pair of Focal Elegia, then this will best price you will find for what is essentially a new pair.  Also, if you are looking at other similarly priced closed-back headphones, I think that you cannot go wrong with the Elegias at this price.  They are like 90%+ of the Focal Stellia's performance for less than 25% of the cost...
