Kef LS50s and JL D110 (Gloss) combo is one of the best speakers
I’d ever heard at any price (in small/medium rooms). The Ls50s has won more awards across the globe than any other speakers I know including Two stereophile “Product of the Year” awards! 

Up for sale is one of my favorite combo speakers/sub of all
time.  The Passive LS50s are as my standard
reference. The tonal balance is very neutral, the image is precise and the clarity
is incredible. The reason I’m letting these go is because my current room is
large (about 500 sq ft with 13ft ceilings so I would like to try something larger
– see picture and you will know what I mean). With that said, in normal small/medium
size listening rooms, these are some of the best speakers I’d heard at any
price.

Both Kef/JL are rated 8/10 and will be shipped in original
boxes. They are both in excellent condition and are free of dings and
scratches. Any small marks due to normal wiping/cleaning can be buffed out if
you are meticulous like me.

One misconception about the Kef LS50s is that they are
only as good as their price range (currently $1299). You have to spend many times to equal
or improve. On the other hand, you can spend a lot more to not get the same performance. They will sound great with mid end gets but will sound amazing when paired with much higher end gears. I
personally use about $25000 worth of source/amp to feed into them. You will be
shocked how revealing this combo will bring.

The JL D110 is fantastic – it sounds accurate, tight and clear.
It’s compatible with the optional wireless adapter and auto signal detection which the E models aren’t. It pairs perfectly with the LS50S!

And because the Kef LS50s and JL D110 are my reference, I
will throw in my entire collection of High-res music so you can appreciate
them. The collection contains over 2000 albums in DSD, 24/384, 24/192, 24/96…
and a lot of 16/44.1 uncompressed music worth over $30,000. Yes, you read it
correctly - $30k! Please NOTE – there’s absolutely no value added for the
