Threshold FET TEN HL PREAMP (MINT CONDITION)!

You are looking at one of the best preamplifiers ever designed! Probably the best effort by the genius Nelson Pass. It replaced my Audio Research SP10, which at the time was and still is considered the one of the best preamp available at any price! The preamp was recently completely reconditioned by Avatar Engineering to above the performance of the unit when it was brand new. The power supply ( Which is the "E" version, the much better unit per Nelson Pass, with 10 times the capacitance) has also been upgraded with new higher capacity audio grade capacitors bypassed with polypropelene film caps, the diodes were replaced with ultra fast soft recovery rectifiers with a Kiwame resistor and improved wiring. As to the line stage there too the electrolytic capacitors were replaced with superior Wima film caps. Some of the other upgrades include the addition of Vishay Dale ultra precision audiophile resistors. All I can say is it took us 15 years to find anything at any price to replace it and that is with a new Nelson Pass unit at a cost of 10K! You will not be disappointed with this GEM.
