Monitor Audio's Silver line has been an affordable transition into hi-end audio from their acclaimed Bronze series. The RX2 is the largest bookshelf speaker in the line and features improved efficiency with wonderful clarity and detail. The RX2 contains Monitors renoun C-Cam tweeter and 8" aluminum C-CAM woofer for impressive frequency response down to 40 Hz and an amazing maximum SPL of nearly 114 dB.
This is a well cared for pair that would easily rate a 9/10 if it weren't for a minor bump on one front upper corner. It's not very visible and someone would have to point it out to notice. Thus the 7 rating. Both grills and all drivers look new and the rosenut veneer is beautiful.
