LFD DAC 5 SE - Mint Customer Trade-In - Optional LFD Power Cords Available As Well!!!

For sale is a mint condition customer trade-in LFD DAC 5 SE complete with the original packaging, owner's manual, digital cable and power cord.  We also have three (3) LFD upgraded power cords available (2 are missing the original box) - they go for $395 each and we are offering them for $225 each.  OPTIONAL LFD POWER CORDS ARE SOLD AS OF 10/7/2019.

The standard DAC5 and DAC5(se) differ in PSU capacitors under the PSU PCB (SE uses elna tonerex and polycarbonate film capacitors). The major sonic difference is the output wiring now used in the SE version, where the earth wire is large solid core copper in parallel with PC-OCC multistrand conductor and hot conductor uses a solid silver ribbon in parallel with a different PC-OCC multistrand conductor. Output wiring in standard model of the DAC5 is copper solid core for earth and PC-OCC multistrand for hot conductor.

LFD Audio AC Mains Cable

Like everything made by Richard Bews of LFD Audio, this AC cord is "mind blowing" for what an improvement it brings. Not only to LFD amplifiers, but to every amp I have tried it on!  It makes a difference on digital sources as well.

If you are using a Cablepro AC strip, or any AC strip, use the LFD mains cord to go from the wall to the power strip. And then use a second one to go from the power strip to your LFD ( or other amplifier)
