Mark Levinson No. 512 CD/SACD player - New lower price!

For sale is Mark Levinson's great sounding No. 512 CD/SACD player. One user, just traded in for a new Levinson No. 519.
The player is in excellent condition, with no scratches or blemishes, nine years old.
It came in with the drawer sounding a little rough, so it was sent in for repair, where it received a brand new drawer motor and gearing system.  Working good as new now.
The remote control did suffer from a significant battery leak.  So while the remote is mostly in fantastic shape, the back around the battery door has two light scratches, and one door screw is missing, as it was stripped during removal.  Inside, however, cleaned up very nicely and pictures are provided.
Comes complete with original Levinson double-box & manual.

Some of the things that make this player sound great:
- Full balanced topology throughout the entire signal path -
Two entirely separate D/A conversion paths.  One for CD's PCM, the
other for SACD's DSD.  (You can actually hear the circuits being switched
upon the disc being recognized.)
- a large memory buffer and Levinson's Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) circuit reduces
jitter and allows for only one clock to control the internal timing of
digital signals.
- Multiple power supplies isolate the digital and analog sections.
