Denon DP-6000

A fully restored Denon transcription DD turntable, from original dealer/owner reference vinyl playback system, as a complete package. System consists of the below listed equipment and components:
Denon - DP-6000: turntable motor/platter servo-controlled direct drive system (fully restored with servo upgraded).
Denon - DA-401: tonearm, low mass arm design intended for high compliance MC cartridges, providing maximum stylus record grove tracking/tracing-ability.
Denon - DL-305: MC stereo phono cartridge, high compliance design elliptical diamond stylus with Boron cantilever, allowing very fast transient response with maximum tracking-ability. Cartridge recently installed brand new from owner/dealer NOS. Approximately 10 hours maximum demo use since complete restoration installation.
Denon - DK-100G: turntable motor plinth. Denon's Universal Record Player Case, with second extra unused arm board from dealer NOS.
Extras: low mass tonearm/cart head-shells x 3, extra rear weight for tonearm, additional rubber viscous platter record mat. All original OEM and/or NOS
Dennesen: tonearm/cartridge alignment protractor (highly accurate).
Shure: SFG-2 Stylus Tracking Force Gauge, beam balance type 0.5 - 3.0 gram.

Description: 99.998% Accurate Speed; Phase Controlled by Quartz Oscillation: The rotating speed is highly stabilized by a timing clock based on a quartz crystal oscillation which is very stable against changes of temperature or time by the use of Phase-locked loop method, the speed is hardly affected by load or supply voltage fluctuation.
DC Electrical Brake for Smoother Operation: Up-speeding servo function and a DC electrical brake are commanded in accordance with the speed detection data.
The result is smoother operation in speed change-over, in starting or in stopping as well as during play.
Magnetic recording head used for Speed Detection: Denon established its original motor control system using magnetic recording method for speed and phase detection utilizing 1000 pulses for high accuracy to allow a high detecting frequency to expel phase lagging of the servo system accordingly over-shoot,wow and flutter therein.
Improved S/N, Wow and Flutter Performance by an AC Motor: With the introduction of pulse width modulation for motor regulation, a cleaner driving current can be applied to the motor.
This improves S/N, wow and flutter performance. This method has also reduced power consumption.
