Pro-Ject 2Xperience Classic

For sale is a TT from Pro-ject. I purchased this unit some years ago for 2nd system and after about 50 hours of use there was no longer a need for a 2nd system. I put the TT into storage in case it was needed in the future. The future has come and gone and I have decided to sell it. It's a great sounding TT and is in good condition except for a scratch on the platter which can be seen in the pics. The scratch is smooth to the touch and in no way affects the LP/platter interface. Of course the scratch can be entirely hidden with an after market platter mat, and I will include a "Simple Mat" from Needle Doctor for that purpose if desired. The platter also has some wear marks on its' side from the drive belt. I thought this was odd after only 50 hours of use so I called the distributor and was told this was normal for their delrin platter and they would not replace it even under warranty.. The TT comes with the superb sounding Sumiko Blue Point #2 cartridge and the sale includes a Mint LP protractor I used to mount the cart (a protractor made exclusively for this TT.) I am also selling a Music Hall phono pre-amp and a Music Hall 2.0 speed controller. Anyone interested in all 3 items would receive a package discount. I am the original owner.
