"Ayre version of the Bauer DPS turntable and DPS tonearm. Ayre was the US importer for this German made turntable and designed and built a dedicated 3 phase power supply. This table has received high praise from Stereophile and has been a recommended component. No longer imported by Ayre and thus almost impossible to still buy in North America.
This is the tonearm Willi Bauer designed for the table. Unique unipivot design. I have also included a custom protractor from Mint for the DPS tonearm.
The table is very easy to set up and no real ongoing maintenance. The oil for the turntable bearing and the oil for the tonearm is supplied. There are also new belts.
