Sony Signature TA-ZH1ES Headphone Amplifier (Amp) DAC (Flawless Condition)

Hi,

I'm selling my Sony Signature TA-ZH1ES amp. The primary reason for this is because I've now got a 1-year old child and I just can't justify the cost of this device for how little I get to use it lately. Note: This listing is only for the TA-ZH1ES. The MDR-Z1R headphones in some of the photos have already been sold.

This amp is in 100% flawless condition--Audiogon won't let me list it as "mint" because I've had it longer than a year, though. It has never been mishandled, there are no scratches or signs of any wear whatsoever on anything, and it sounds amazing. This amp has been completely babied by a very meticulous person (me).

I have all of the original accessories, including the remote control, Sony Walkman cord, manual, and even the original retail box and shipping box.

The device was bought in April 2018, and I would say I've used it for not more than a few hours per week since then on average. So, my best estimate is ~144 hours of listening on the balanced output and another ~72 hours on its pre-out.

The TA-ZH1ES is currently selling on Amazon (and elsewhere) for $2,200 plus approximately $175 tax. I'm asking for $1,600, which is $775 off what you'd pay new.
