Von Schweikert Unifield 3’s Punch well above their price class, and that was at the retail price. These are a phenomenal value at 1/3 the original retail price. The Unifield 3’s are a small footprint speaker that just simply disappear into any room. The image they present make you feel like you are in the concert hall or studio with the musicians, but just don’t take it from me, this is how Von Schweikert describes the Unifield 3’s

· “‘dynamic-driver augmented one-way’ system utilizing a full-range driver for ‘image lock’ supported by a subwoofer and ribbon super tweeter.” Albert VonSchweikert

· Triple-layer cabinet with 50mm thick walls and is formed of 20mm resin-board, 20mm composite stone, and a 10mm felt layer bonded with vibration-controlling adhesive

· Driver complement:

o 7” magnesium-coned woofer with a “Low Distortion Motor” from Norway

o 5″ composite-coned full-range driver from Japan

o 3″ aluminum foil ribbon tweeter.

· Crossover: Global Axis Integration Network set at 100 Hz and 8 kHz (trailing slope @ -6dB, 300 Hz/4kHz overlap). Optimized for flat off-axis response and phase consistency

· Frequency Response: 26Hz-50 kHz -6 dB (32Hz-40 kHz, +/- 2 dB).

· Impedance: 8 ohms nom. (4 ohms lowest)

Resulting in an extremely coherent and transparent speaker system that, while, designed for small and medium sized rooms and works effortlessly in larger rooms.

These Unifield 3’s were purchased new from a dealer and have been lightly used in a child and pet free, non smoking home since 2013. They are in perfect condition and function like the day they were made. I will include a nice set of DIY Bi-wire Speaker Cables at the asking price.
