Wilson Audio Sophia Speakers

Up for consideration are my beloved Wilson Audio Specialties Sophia's! A matched stereo pair, in a beautiful automotive black color, s/n's 0501 & 0502 mounted on the supplied Wilson Spikes. I've conservatively rated them a 7/10 due to the "soft foam" on the front panels (which can be replaced from Wilson Audio @ $40ea upper, $60ea lower) which attaches the upper & lower grilles. Sonically they are flawless and beautiful speakers! Any perceived imperfections in the pics of the speakers finish are merely dust or reflections, they are beautiful (maybe minor scratches or rub marks). Always lovingly driven with good, clean power from my Parasound Halo amp, with Analysis Plus Oval 9 cables and Solo Crystal interconnects. No bi-wire required, they have phenomenal cross-overs and fantastic bass, mid & treble response. Cosmetically they are very good with no obvious flaws or chips in the paint (maybe some swirl marks or small scratches which can be buffed out like great automotive paint, the midrange driver dust covers both have a small "dent" which doesn't effect sound at all, see pics), I preferred them without the drills so not a problem however the grills were stored elsewhere and so got a few nicks on a few of the corners on the R speaker upper & lower grille cover (very small, see pics. The lower grille can be mounted so this flaw is facing down, I've pictured it this way purposely to show it). They've been in a smoke free, upstairs apartment for the last 8 yrs (so no loud, high volume sessions)! Mostly used as background music listening and stereo for TV/gaming, occasionally some low volume, highly detailed SACD listening sessions while enjoying a glass of wine. :-) I've tried to honestly describe them in detail as best I can, and detail anything I would want to know before purchase. I'm honest and expect you to be as well, I've got a very long history of purchases/sales (and 100% rating on ebay) and a good one here.. I will truly miss these amazing speakers, they have brought me so much joy and pleasure!
I don't have the orig crates (so local pick up preferred and suggested, or you can arrange packing/shipping) but I have the Wilson original tool kit (with different footing options) and Wilson owners manual.
