My apologies for the late reply....
The LINE-3 (in it's stock form) was a big step up over the SFL-2...drect coupled output, CLC raw supply, 50% regulated power supply stages, headphone amp, remote control, new circuit, much lower output impedance, etc....
Now...couple that with a massive aftermarket parts upgrade (including the finest signal caps going - DUELUND)..then, you have a preamp that would sell for to $15K to $20K, if made today |
