- Balanced Audio Technology VK-60 mono-blocks (internally wired) power amplifiers. Sold as pair
only. In the photos amp 1 is on the left and amp 2 on the right.
Overhead detail shows all bias LEDs lit. The tubes have low hours. 6B33C-Bs purchased from BAT. The 6SN7s are NOS RCA.
1 6B33C-B (physically damaged) was replaced with a 6B33C-B matched using an Amplitrex tester. Search VK-60 for reviews and more information. Amp 1 has no physical
defects. Amp 2 has very minor dent (1cm long and less than 0.5mm
deep) and two small scuffs on top of the output transformer case. Face plate of
Amp 2 is dark gun metal gray rather than black, like Amp 1.
These amps weigh 100
pounds each; highly recommend local audition and pick up. They are currently set up and operating. Will
consider delivery depending on distance and timing. Buyer pays shipping. Replaced these amps in the system and they have been in dry temperature controlled storage.
