Marantz 2240 Stereophonic Receiver - Tested, Serviced and Great Condition

We're not really vintage audio dealers, however we just had a customer bring in an about 10 pieces of older gear.  It was so well kept and he had it all serviced regularly so we couldn't pass it up.  You'll find it all on Audiogon this week.  

This Marantz receiver was the first we powered and tested.  Frankly, we were stunned!.  This things sounds absolutely sweet!
 
The volume control is very quiet, all buttons and functions are working and it outputs strong on both channels.  It was super tempting to keep it just to look at, and yes, all lights are working.  It has on original wood case and it's beautiful. 
This isn't just a piece of history, but a fantastic sounding receiver you can enjoy...plus it will start a conversation with everyone who sees it!

CONDITION -  This unit was well cared for by its previous (and very possibly the original) owner and is surprisingly clean.  Smells old, but looks great.
