It was sent to me brand new directly from the factory to compensate me for an older issue with another piece of equipment ...to the company's credit . While waiting to resolve the issue, i bought another pre amp, having no idea it would take so long and that i would eventually be offered this newer model as compensation. It is a brand new factory fresh model, but i admit, i did demo it. It is actually way better sounding in every way than the previous and highly acclaimed model L3A pre amp.
