JBL C34 Harkness

Up for sale is a pair of JBL C34 Harkness speakers comprised of 175 DLH horn assembly, N1200 frequency dividing network and D130 15” woofers. All drivers are original, untempered and in good shape. The speakers are not in consecutive serial order and not a butterflied matching pair.

The speakers came in a 1000 sf condo that I bought recently from a 90+ year old gentleman. These speakers are way too big for the space where I can place them and hence the sale. One cabinet was stripped and the other in excellent condition. Instead of trying to match stains, I got them professionally painted. Also, I got the internal wiring replaced with silver hookup wire. The listing is rated only as a 7 because the cabinets are painted over (not the original veneer). Speakers function perfectly, sound wonderful and are very presentable!

I can not/will not ship these speakers. Audition and pick up in Ashland Oregon. Some delivery arrangements can be made for buyers in the SF Bay Area or Northern California.

There is also a sixties MCM stereo console, all original, with a Thorens TD 124, a McIntosh power amp as well as a McIntosh preamp/tuner in very good shape. I am not listing the electronics at this time, but I am open to offers if you are interested in acquiring the whole package, meaning the speakers AND the console.
