This Moon 260D CD transport/DAC is in excellent condition, both physically and functionally. It was purchased just over 4 years ago and has not moved from its shelf in my audio system since then. It's a highly reviewed component, and is included in the just released issue of The Absolute Sound's "2020 High-End Audio Buyer's Guide". It is truly a high-end product that has brought me much listening pleasure and has had absolutely no mechanical issues. The 260D makes a great digital "hub" as multiple components can be connected to it to take advantage of its excellent built-in DAC. Internal fuses have been upgraded to Hi-Fi Tuning fuses.

Thanks so much for your interest in the Moon 260D. Yes, it has an internal DAC. As I indicated in my description, it makes an excellent digital hub, as other digital components can be connected to it to take advantage of the DAC via USB, coax or toslink. The "D" in the 260D name indicates that it has an internal DAC. The plain 260 is just a transport, and adding the DAC increases the price tag by $1000. I do have the original packaging and all paperwork, and I'm the original owner. I hope this helps!
