Mark Levinson No 39

This unit is not just a CD player, the Mark Levinson No. 39 provides three capabilities in one as it is really a CD Transport, DAC, and  Digital Preamp in one simple, yet beautiful piece of equipment that is a great representation of Mark Levinson.

Although it was purchased in 2002, it is has been well cared for and is in pristine condition and never
had any issues.  It has an overall very low hours of use, but particularly in the last 8 years, as I have mostly used it as a DAC for a wireless streamer connected through its digital inputs, thus the mechanical portion of the CD player has been used very little and functions perfectly.  The door moves smoothly, quietly and correctly.

The sound quality of the No. 39 is spacious and bright.  The functionality of the unit is fantastic as well, because you can use it directly into an amplifier or with a Pre-amp/Amp combo.  I have used it with great results, both directly to my ML3, and also with an ML7-ML3 combo.  This unit is also able to play HDCDs. 

This unit was purchased directly from a local dealer who had it as a demo in his listening room.  This unit is in very good condition, but does have a few small scratches
that were there when purchased from the dealer. (Visible in the photos)  We have the original box and packaging, manual and heavy duty remote control.
