Vandersteen 1C

For sale two (2) Vandersteen Model 1C speakers. I am the original owner. No pets. No smokers. 

These speakers are a matched set with sequential
serial numbers. The fabric socks are free of pill, pulls and dust. The end caps are in perfect condition.

Vandersteen speaker stands are included. The speaker stands allow tilt adjustment to align the speaker to your ear height for the most accurate reproduction and sound stage.

I used four of these speakers in a 5.1 system paired with Vandersteen's Model VCC center speaker and
a Vandersteen V2W subwoofer. Now paired with an SVS 20-39 PC subwoofer these
speakers continue to seamlessly blend with the subwoofer. When listening to stereo music these full-range speakers handle the low end with impressive tightness and depth.
String bass, orchestral music, and baritone vocals are true to the original.

There is a tweeter contour control on Model lC’s rear panel. This control adjusts the tweeter
level. The control may be used to compensate for a bright or dull room.
