For sale is my Van Alstine FET 400 R. I decide to purchase some folded horns for my den and this is too much power for that speaker / room. I used it for a while to power Acoustats and then switched to some Von Schweikert speakers. In both cases the amp had plenty of power and warmth that was required of these speakers. Transients, due to its hybrid design, were particularly breath taking. From what I know about this amp, its great for Maggies or situations where speakers require additional power to open up.
