Here’s your chance to own one of the best phono stages made at a significant discount. These rarely come up for sale and I am only selling because I upgraded to the silver edition.
This unit is 1 1/2 years old and barely broken in. It includes a NOS Mullard rectifier tube and I can also include the original tube. It’s been kept in a smoke-free, pet-free, child-free environment. Conservatively rated at 8/10 - the unit is clean except for a few minor dings on the top rear panel that are not visible from the front - see closeup photo.

Michael Fremer, Stereophile Magazine: ”provides an intoxicating blend of stupefying extended high frequencies, resolution, clarity, and transient precision, along with tight, deep, nimble, non-mechanical bass, and an ideally rich ie not too rich-midrange with just the right amount of body and harmonic structure.”
Stereophile Class A+ Component:
"The Ypsilon produced an absolutely intoxicating blend of stupefyingly extended high frequencies, resolution, clarity, and transient precision, along with tight, deep, nimble, nonmechancial bass, and an ideally rich-ie, not too rich-midrange with just the right amounts of body and harmonic structure".
"I heard the high-frequency clarity, air, and extension of the best solid-state phono preamps, as well as the harmonic expression and musical flow of the best tube phono preamps, with none of the negatives of either".
- Michael Fremer
Stereophile Product Of The Year: "Editors Choice"
"I haven't got over the Ypsilon and I don't expect to for some time. If ever".
