These are MIT's 2C3D Flagship Level 1 model in the latest Heritage Series and designed to match the performance of MIT’s patented SHD 120 series cables, but at a fraction of their suggested retail price. Utilizing the same circuit design,
but incorporating thru-hole circuit boards, smaller components and the
ABS Heritage 350 enclosures, these have all the performance, but at a huge savings in retail price
and only half the weight of MIT's less-flexible and heavier SHD 120
series. Therefore, even at their full retail price, the Heritage Series
Level 1 cables represent the “Sweet Spot” in ultra-high performance value, compared with any cables MIT has ever built.
BUT, at about 4/10's this bargain retail price, for a new/demo pair, these are a "steal", among all recognized top cables!
NOTE: I also have a pair of the same 2C3D Level 1 model cables, 1M length, but unbalanced and w/RCA’s available. Also Priced at about 4/10's suggested retail price!

As you can see here, with the introduction of the Heritage line MIT changed their marketing details to defocus on the number of poles being the main differentiator between levels of quality. My Level 1's are the top of the Heritage Series and are the ultimate in price/performance of anything MIT has ever made. |
