Interesting opportunity.  Here is a Jeff Rowland Model One ss amp, 60 watts/ch into 8 ohm, 120 watts into 4 ohm and 215 wpc into 2 ohms.  The Manual does not give any wpc info for the amps when they are bridged.  This unit is a dealer trade in.  It was reviewed in S-phile (1992 I believe) by Thomas Norton., one of the most informative reviews I have read.  And he had very complimentary things say about the Model One, by the way.

This amp has some very interesting and unusual features, and I really recommend you read the review to get the picture. I have downloaded and printed the owner's Manual and this unit is rather complicated as to its choices of connecting inputs and speaker wires.  Adjustable Input Impedance, and adjustable Gain functions.  Speakers can be connected directly as either phase normal or phase inverted.  Both balanced and single ended inputs.

Bridged operation is possible, so if you happen to have one of these units already, it might be interesting to get this one and experiment with the bridged set-up.

The condition of this amp is fair.  Cosmetically, it has some scratch  problems on the face plate (see the pics)  I have to say as is often said here, that the pics are a lot worse than when you view it in the standard light of a room.  In addition there are a few spots on the bottom edge of the face plate that have scratched. There are no other cosmetic issues. If you require cosmetics to be perfect to enjoy the music, then perhaps this unit is not for you.. If you are less concerned with cosmetics and enjoy your music anyway, read on.

The unit was working in the owner's system until recently when he moved his residence and traded in all of his gear for new.  It has a repair history.  The left channel power supply module and the bridge rectifier were replaced some time ago (1992) at the factory and the amp has been working fine since.  I will include the repair invoice for the buyer.

Questions for the seller
Yes $800 plus shipping or $900 total I have a fed ex GROUND account. If you pack I can send you my FedEx ground number and you can bring to any FedEx location and ship to me using my account number. In fact if I had to I could even issue a CALL TAG and have it picked up at your front door ( that will cost me extra though ). Let’s do this. Happy holidays Michael A. Marks, MD
Hi Michael--sorry for the delay in responding. When I got your last message I was on the road and when I tried to respond A-gon required my password and I couldn't remember it!! OK, we can do this. I will accept your offer, and I assume you will use Paypal so I will add that fee in--I think $24. All you will have to do is instruct me a little more on how to use your FedEx ID#--I assume my local drop off point (a Mailboxes Etc. center) can do that. The closest FedEx center is ;over an hour away. And Happy Holidays to you too!! Regards, Rich
