Audio gem with cult status for sale just in time for the holidays. This is an exceptional tube phono preamp for any analog setup. A wonderful sound.
This Parks Audio Budgie phono preamp is lightly used and in excellent condition. It was removed from its box, set on a covered shelf and hasn't moved since purchase. I am the sole owner and electronics are sacred. Smoke-free and pet-free home.
The Budgie comes with a matched pair of 6DJ8 Amperex White Label tubes, made in Holland. These were purchased at the same time as the preamp, and have been used strictly with the Budgie. Essentially Bugle Boys, they are a perfect match for the preamp - warm, detailed, and musical. The preamp was only powered on when in use - the Amperex tubes have 500 hours max.
It also includes the stock Electro-Harmonix 6922 tubes, which are like new.
I do not have the original box for the preamp - however, I do have proof of purchase via Parks Audio per request. This item would be packed and shipped with great care.
Original 12V mini desktop power supply and gain/cartridge guide included. Ready to plug and play. Thank you for looking!
