Diatone DS-1000ZX

These pair of Diatone DS-1000ZX released in October 1995 were recently imported from Brazil and were Brand New in Box. 

One of the major concerns with this speaker and ones like it from around the same time was the ageing cloth surround used in the woofer.  If the speakers were not kept in good controlled climate conditions and the cloth would tend to harden. When they arrived both surrounds were in perfect condition.

(NOTE: I did purchase some particular solution from Japan that is supposed to be able soften the surround if it had become hardened over time. This solution will be provided free of charge, although as mentioned it is not needed.)

I have the original boxes for these with manual and foam fittings.  I have played them for around 300 hours straight with a variety of music to ensure that everything it functioning correctly. 

I am setting these for local pickup but if you are willing to pay the freight shipping I do have all the materials to box them up for overseas shipping and local US shipping. 

NOTE: They do not include the stands that were made for them. I ended up using two sets of salamander designs archetype setups and ISOAccoustisc Bordeaux pucks for isolation.  I will update with the photos of the completed setup when I have a moment.
