U.S. buyers only.  30th Anniversary Edition. Tempted to list as mint, but will go with excellent condition to be on the safe side.  Immaculate rosewood finish.  After moving to a new place, I have not been able to use these AMAZING speakers and it pains me to sell them.  I suggest giving them a break-in period, as they have not been used.   I used them on Foundation stands (sorry, the stands sold on Audiogon) and powered them with an LFD INT LE V (a great match for these speakers, also to be listed concurrently on Audigon). Original boxes and packing materials. This review says it all for me: http://www.stereotimes.com/speak103107.shtml

Questions for the seller
I understand these cannot be placed near a wall, and must be placed at least 2 feet out from back and sidewalls, have you also found this to be true? Is that why you are selling these?
Hi! Thanks for inquiring. I believe that general consensus is that optimal placement for the Harbeths is on an open bottom stand (such as the Foundation) and away from the wall, and I found this to be true. The room and your ears should dictate where to optimally place the speakers, which is true of any speakers. These speakers would have been with me forever, but I was fortunate enough to retire early and have sold my house and am going to live full-time in an Airstream trailer traveling North America. My audio system simply doesn’t fit into these plans. Best of luck in your audiophile journey! Eric
From this listing:: " I suggest giving them a break-in period, as they have not been used. I used them on Foundation stands (which I will list concurrently on Audiogon) and powered them with an LFD INT LE V" Can you explain what you mean by "they have not been used"?
They have been in their shipping boxes for a couple of years, having only been taken out for photographing and hooked up to my LFD amp to confirm that all is well.
