High Fidelity Cables MC-1 Pro Helix+

“Handheld” power conditioner from manufacturer (High Fidelity Cables) of highly regarded megabuck power conditioners which use a patented capacitor design to couple capacitor filtering with powerful magnetic wave guides. The soundstage opens up side to side and front to back allowing you to hear into the back corners of the stage - very difficult to achieve. Images are more clearly defined. Tonality, clarity, dynamic contrasts, and frequency extension are all improved.

When I first plugged one of these into a spare outlet on my power strip I was literally amazed at the effect. The sound seems to coalesce into individual voices and instruments laid out on a believable 3D soundstage. Impact, dynamics and Bass were improved. The device seemed particularly effective on digital sources. Even my wife could clearly hear the improvement.

I liked the improvement delivered by one MC-1 Pro Helix+ so much that I tried a second and then a third, plugged in at different spots in my system. I ended up buying three units.

Now HFC has released a (more expensive, of course) “Double Helix+ Signature” version that I’ve just tried n my system and found that it indeed is more effective than my Pro Helix+. I am planning on purchasing three Double Helix+ units to replace my three original Pro Helix+ units, so I’m putting my three original units up for sale.

The original retail price of the Pro Helix+ was $2700 each but HFC is currently running a sale that is offering Pro Helix+ at $1750 so I’m using that price as the original retail in my listing.

All units are about six months old. I’m the original owner and purchased from an authorized HFC dealer. All are in perfect operating and cosmetic condition. Each Pro Helix+ comes with its own flight case. (See picture)
