VPI Industries HW-19 mkIV [Template]

VPI HW-19 MK-4 with original Audioquest PT-6 tonearm for sale. I purchased this on Audiogon around 2012 and it has received very little use over the years. According to the previous owner this table was manufactured as an MK-3 and subsequently upgraded to an MK-4; I believe the upgrade included springs and an upgraded (very heavy) platter. Shortly after I purchased it I replaced the motor with a new VPI motor. It is in perfect working order and sounds great.

Please note, the Ortofon Black shown in the photos is NOT included in the sale. The sale does include a re-tipped (by Soundsmith) Dynavector DV-10X5 MC cartridge that came with the table. Also included are a set of brass cones that I preferred along with the original rubber feet.

Cosmetically the turntable is in realy nice shape, with some inevitable very fine scratches on the plastic cover and acrylic plinth. The wooden base is in excellent conditions with no marring or scratches. Selling because I haven't been fnding the time to listen to vinyl and I'm contemplating either consolidating to a more compact system or selling off all my records. This is a great sounding table and I would like to move it along to someone who will use it.
