Nola's cost-no-object rendering of it's popular Contender series floor stander. This pair was specifically built upon my request as a NOLA dealer for personal use and finished in piano-black. This is a premium finish available in the Contender series upon request at much extra cost. I put about 100 tube driven hours on these before moving up to the Metro Grand Reference Gold so they are not completely worked-in but already show evidence of great sounds to come. The Contenders are 90 db sensitive and very tube friendly with a measured response of -2db, 30HZ. - 3.5 kHZ.. Recommended input power is 30-150 watts, RMS. Like all Nola speakers, they disappear nicely behind a fluid wall of sound. Infinitely musical and non-fatiguing at all reasonable volumes. These are new loudspeakers and come complete with silk 'stockings', original packing and cartons, owners manual and full five year warranty.
