Cary’s flagship tubed preamplifier. I am the third owner. I purchased it last year on Audiogon. It is a solid 8 with one small nick on top. It is 2 mm and can be seen in the pictures below. The sound is fantastic. The tubes have been tested. Comes with remote that will control volume. (Inputs are not controlled by a remote.) Cary power umbilical cord and power cord included and it will come double boxed in the original Cary box. It is listed below Agon blue book. I’m downsizing otherwise I wouldn’t part with it. Buyer pays shipping and additional 3% for PayPal. No PayPal fee for friends and family.
6 NOS Russian tubes are also included in addition to what you see in the pictures. A friend just supplied me. A bit warmer sound with the new tubes. 3 new Hi-Fi Tuning fuses for the power supply will be included, also.

| Has this ever been back to Cary for updates and/or service-depending on age it may need that-=- It has not been serviced. It is fully functional without any issues. The ultimate upgrade from Cary is an option, though. They rewire and recap the entire unit and the reviews are great. It is great as is, though. |
| What tubes are in the amp now ? ( 6 Hitachi and 2 electro Harmonix ? ) The electro harmonix have been there in the headphone section and are still there. I rolled in 6 Russian tubes but you would get them all. I will include 4 Hi Fi Sliver fuses for the power supply, also. |
| That is not the RC-10 remote that comes with the SPL-05 ? The only remote function for the pre amp is the volume control. This remote does that. It is not the original remote. |
