This Threshold CAS-2 is rarely seen up for sale . Its design is to insure uncompromised operation under the most demanding load conditions. The CAS-2 employs twenty four high speed 150 watt output devices for a combined, instantaneous dissipation reserve of 3,600 watts.

This results in a safe operating range of such magnitude that the CAS-2 does not require"protection" circuits of any type. since these circuits simply do not exist, no complex load effects can falsely trigger their action and interfere with the reproduced signal.

This Threshold CAS-2 Amplifier is in good cosmetic condition with only a few minor blemishes . Its operation is flawless with power to spare to handle and speaker load you may challenge it with.
