I am selling a spectacular pair of Sonus Faber Amati Homage
speakers. Amazing in many regards, from the holographic
midrange to the expansive soundstage that disappears like magic. I have yet to hear a speaker for less than
$50K that sounds as good (my opinion) as these, and if you are looking for what
can easily be a life-long pair of speakers or an opportunity to hear music at
the top audiophile level, the Amati Homage may be for you.
Please know my price is fair, as these are a 2002 model, not
a mid-1990s model, and are in mint condition, and priced below Blue Book Trade-In value.
I have the original boxes and accessories, and the grills are is
excellent condition. I am the second
owner purchased from a local Sonus Faber dealer, and the speakers have been in
a well-conditioned listening room since I got them.
These speakers are truly effortless in how they play music,
and can be driven with almost any type of amplifier. I have driven the Amati Homage with various
power amps over the years (Linn Klout, Linn Klimax Solo 500, Burmester 911,
Lamm ML 2.0, Lamm M 1.2 Ref, and Lamm ML 2.2).
With each amplifier I could hear something different specific to the amp
itself, however the Amati Homage signature was always there in compliment to
the different amplifier and played music effortlessly. I know these speakers extremely well and I am
willing to share what I know in helping a potential owner of these speakers. Note, the speaker should be rated at nine however to be conservative I will read them and eight.
The speakers are heavy, so a local pick-up is preferred.
