ODEON No. 28 SE 3-way Horn Speakers European Poplar (TULIP Tree) MINT Demos. All original crates, accessories, manuals. The No.28 is our smallest speaker in the family of Odeon 3-way systems. It convinces with housing-friendly proportions and easy installation. Despite its graceful size for a horn, this loudspeaker can easily create even grand orchestral classical music or rock concerts in original volume in your living room with great ease. A special feature of the Odeon horn systems, however, is that, in contrast to “normal” loudspeakers, they sound dynamic and full even at very low volumes. The great transparency and extreme speed of the Odeon horns and their vivid image give the listener the feeling of being integrated into the action and of witnessing the performance live. The No.28 is due to its good efficiency and good natured impedance curve. Technique: The speaker is equipped in the bass range with a 26 cm woofer system. Its strong drive and the ingenious ground-based reflex system allow a deep and at the same time fast bass reproduction which is also adaptable to the room. The mid-tone range is reproduced with a 13 cm air gel high-tech system in a 42 cm spherical spherical horn. This system is also used in the large loudspeakers No.32 and No.38 and guarantees a finely drawn, plastic and in the spatial representation unique sound. He is also one of the fastest of its kind in signal processing. The newly developed tweeter is a neodymium magnet pressure chamber driver in the spherical horn, which is characterized by great dynamics and highest resolution of the signals. The crossover is made of the best, hand-selected components. As usual with Odeon, with pulse- and phase-optimized characteristics.
