This amp was the collaboration of Harry Weisfeld of VPI and Steve Leung of VAS to update the classic Scott 299D. It was a limited edition of 100.
This unit has been used lightly since new. It can be used either in ultra linear or triode mode. Rated power is 38 watts per channel into 8 ohms with EL-34 or 40 watts with KT-88 tubes. The output is 20 watts per channel operating in triode. It has a MM phono stage, headphone output, and tone controls.
This is a marvelous sounding amp that will give many years of enjoyment. I am selling it because I don't have space for a second system. It comes with a remote control, the original tubes that came with the amp and have much life left.
