| 500 pounds weight for shipping? DALI lists the speakers at around 85 pounds each. You're correct the weight of the Large Dali M4 speakers without any packing would be 85 pounds each and if you're just looking at those two M4's then that would be a total of 170 pounds not including any packing or shipping crate container.
Since these speakers are so high-end I've never wanted to take a chance of just sending them in the cardboard box with foam lining. I will pack them in a cardboard box with foam lining each and then take those two boxes and put them in a wooden crate.
All this is to make hundred percent sure there's no damage done in shipping.
Once you have it in a wooden crate then they need to be shipped by one of the freight companies.
I agree that the total weight with the cardboard box and foam and the wooden crate would not be 500 pounds. However if you are seriously interested in purchasing them I will move forward to find out what the actual weight and size of the wooden crate would be and what the cost to ship that would be.
