ATI ATI542NC Power Amplifier (New Lower Price)

For sale is my Amplifier Technologies ATI542NC Power Amplifier. I am the original owner and purchased on June 21, 2017 from InterActive Home Systems. Technically almost 3 years old, I only used it for a couple years and sparingly at that...maybe once a week. For the past year the amp has been stored in its original shipping container unused.

ATI doesn't get a lot of fanfare as they don't advertise, but this is a seriously designed, great sounding amp. The amplifier consists of two of Bruno Putzey's N-Core modules per channel in a differential bridged output configuration delivering 500W RMS per channel at 8 ohms and 900W RMS at 4 ohms. I used it to drive a pair of Magnepan 3.7s which it easily handled. Unusual for Class D amplifiers the ATI employs a well designed linear power supply.

Amplifier is in excellent shape with no cosmetic issues. ATI has a seven year transferable warranty so this amp will be under warranty for another 4 years 3 months.
