Selling one pair of Audio Physic Tempo (version 5) floor standing speaker in gorgeous maple finish. This pair is in immaculate condition, and has the original shipping boxes. Front and side grills are in excellent condition with no snags or holes.
Audio Physic's slogan is "no loss of fine detail" which means their speakers on easy to drive, image wonderfully, have exceptional resolution and detail. Definitely furniture quality and will fill a medium sized room with glorious music. The Tempo is the entry into the company’s Reference line. At this price point, I’m a little shocked at how fun, neutral and transparent these speakers are. Very musical, and almost full-range. There are some informative reviews in Positive Feedback.

How long have you owned these speakers?
Paul A few months. I found them, mint condition, from a long time Audio Physics fan in Seattle. I expected to keep them longer, but I was excited enough about the Audio Physics "house sound" that I ordered a brand new pair.
Have you had the chance to hear Audio Physics, specifically the Tempos? I really like my Proac Response D2 and 1sc monitors, and kept experimenting with subwoofers to fill in the lower end. After hearing these Tempos I decided that Audio Physics floorstanding speakers was the way to go. Similar air and detail to the Proac's, but slightly more realistic sounding vocals, and much much better bass. If I do keep subwoofers, I will set it to the lowest possible frequency. |
