ACCUPHASE C-200 ( NEAR MINT PREAMP!)

Here is a great opportunity to own a true classic and collectable in beautiful condition both cosmetically and functionally that has been going up in value every year! It has been completely restored (2/20) by Avatar engineering a 12 man hour service, at a cost of $800. Included in the restoration are: all new power supply, consisting of Higher voltage, capacitance and temperature rated audio grade electrolytic capacitors Bypassed with polypropylene Film Caps. The power diodes were replaced with ultra fast soft recovery rectifiers . both the phono and headphone sections were upgraded with vishay/Dale  and PRP precision resistors in key areas, along with polypropylene film and audio grade electrolytic capacitors throughout the unit. Any diode, transistor or resistor that was more than 1% out of spec was replaced by vishay dale 1%  precision units throughout the entire preamp! All low value electrolytic caps were placed with much better sounding polypropylene film capacitors. All switches, connections and potentiometers were cleaned and lubricated etc. Before the service this preamp sounded great, After the restoration it truly holds its own with most REFERENCE LEVEL components especially the phono section which can play both MM and most medium to high output MC Cartridges. If you have been holding out for a true gem that will bring you another 40+ years of musical enjoyment this is the one to get!
