Diamond DAC V is an upgrade from the Diamond DAC IV Plus. The Diamond V DAC for
sale here is in perfect condition. It was recently at the MSB factory for
upgraded feet and received testing and a clean bill of health. It also has all
new packaging and the new rechargeable remote. This DAC V for sale has the
Femto 77 clock which is a significant sonic upgrade from the standard Femto 140
clock. The Diamond DAC V is the culmination of 17 years of ladder DAC evolution
with many improvements including the new motherboard taking full advantage of
the Femto 77 clock accuracy. The Diamond V is current in the sense it has MSB’s
legendary digital smoothness attained without any up-sampling or tricks. Native
formats are directly converted with incredible precision throughout the clock,
motherboard, inputs and power supplies to achieve a natural presentation that
has to be heard. MSB suggests that the DAC might now be the best thing in your
system. If so, the changes one makes in the rest of their system scale much
larger. The choices made between cable, amplifiers, speakers, and power
treatments become much more obvious for their contribution. It is important to
note that there is no “matching” needed compensating for artifacts of “lesser
digital". Each change in the system can be clearly and immediately heard.

tight well defined articulate bass, beautiful textures with massed violins,
